今日は仕事に関わる件で阿佐ヶ谷だとか二子玉だとかに行ってました。これで忙しかった1月にも区切りがつきます。遅くなる前に用が済んだので、秋葉に寄って散財するか、有楽町で人体の不思議展を見ていくかでしばし悩んだ後、人体展を目指したわけですが、当日券を求める人の列の長い事(証拠)ったら！1時間半待ちに挫けて逃げ帰りました。平日の午前中に来ておくんだったと後悔するも後の祭り。もう1週間でいいから再延長しないかなぁ。
「環境危機をあおってはいけない」と言う本を読んでるんですが、進みが遅くてかないません。読み進められるようにとわざわざ電車で出かけたのに、往復4時間で100Pくらいしか進まないと言う体たらくですよ。高い本なので図書館で借りましたが、期限内に読み終われないかも……本の内容は、酸性雨で森が死ぬだとか、石油が枯渇する日がもすうぐ訪れるだとか行った「地球はもう駄目だ」的な不安をかきたてる主張に対する実際のデータにもとづく反論です。頭から信じていた様な話の別の側からの視点には、まさに目から鱗が落ちるような気持ちを味わえます。反論とは言っても、だからと言って「地球環境は万事オーライ」と言うような事を言っているわけではありませんので、環境保護推進派にもお勧め。

But I do say, that in all disputes between them and their rulers, the presumption is at least upon a par in favour of the people.
